Grants The Northeast Library System Board sets aside some funds each year for matching grants to help libraries meet ongoing needs in the areas of Collection Development and Technology. Grant information will be posted when available in the "Straight Talk" newsletter.

Scholarships Each year the Northeast Library System Board allocates funds for scholarships so that trustees, librarians and school library media specialists who have not recently attended the annual Nebraska Library Association/Nebraska Educational Media Association conference may do so. This statewide multi-day conference is an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues from throughout Nebraska and to participate with them in a variety of learning experiences.

In addition to NLA Scholarships, the Northeast Library System has provided scholarships for Northeastern librarians and school media specialists to attend the Nebraska Library Leadership Institute. The NELLI lasts for one week, usually in July, and is held at the St. Benedictine Center near Schuyler.
